Living in Miami is amazing, but let’s face it, it can also be pricey – especially when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. However, staying fit shouldn’t mean draining your bank account. That’s why I’ve done the legwork to find budget friendly gyms that don’t compromise on quality. Here are some of the best affordable fitness gyms in Miami.

24 Hour Fitness: Luxury Amenities On A Budget
Location(s)
Doral West and Miami Gardens
The Experience
My personal journey with 24 Hour Fitness started in Orlando and I’m thrilled to see the same level of quality in their Miami locations. To me, 24 Hour Fitness is the economical cousin of Equinox – comprehensive, yet accessible.
Amenities Galore
Both locations boast impressive facilities, including lap pools, saunas, whirlpools, turf zones, basketball courts, and Olympic training rigs. The Miami Gardens location goes a step further with free Wifi – a small touch that makes a big difference in your workout experience.
Tech-Forward Fitness
The 24 Smart Plan app is a game-changer, offering tailored workout plans right on your smartphone. It’s perfect for those who need a bit of guidance in their fitness journey.
Pricing
An annual membership offers nationwide access for just $215.88, a steal considering the amenities. Monthly plans are also available ranging from $19.99 to $44.99.
The Downsides
You do have to sign a contract to join and there may be difficulty getting out of said contract if you have to terminate it early.

YouFit: Best For Extra Perks
Exploring YouFit
With 14 locations in Miami alone, YouFit stands out for its commitment to providing a non-intimidating, inclusive gym environment. My tour of the Hammocks Blvd location left me impressed – it’s equipped with everything you need for a comprehensive workout, included an unexpected surprise: an indoor pickleball court!
Beyond the Gym Floor
Some YouFit locations also offer low-cost babysitting services and small group training, adding to their family-friendly appeal.
The Extra Edge
For those seeking nutritional guidance, the Premium+ membership grants access to the Eat Love app – your companion for personalized nutrition and meal planning.
Pricing
YouFit’s affordability shines with its tiered pricing system, ranging from $9.99 to $36.99 per month. The current promotion waives the $19 enrollment fee for the Premium+ membership, and with the code LOCKIN24, you can lock in an annual membership for just $149.

The Downsides
YouFit can feel slightly gimmicky if you’re a more serious trainer.

Miami Lakes Athletic Club: For The Country Club Lovers
More Than Just a Gym
Miami Lakes Athletic Club offers the experience of a country club without the hefty price tag. From a range of classes like Pilates and Zumba to tennis programs and gymnastics, it caters to a diverse set of interests and ages.
Unique Offerings
Tennis enthusiasts will find a haven here, with adult and children’s programs available. The club also boasts an inviting outdoor swimming pool – perfect for cooling off after a workout.
Location & Pricing
Nestled in Miami Lakes, the club offers a flexible $75 month-to-month membership or a more committed $64 monthly plan with a 12-month contract.
The Downsides
While Miami Lakes Athletic Club is an amazing gym, there is only one location. If you’re someone who travels or would like to have access to multiple locations in Miami, the club wouldn’t be a good fit for you.

Miami Iron Gym: For the Lifting Enthusiasts
Lifting Culture
Miami Iron Gym prides itself on being a straightforward, old school gym. It’s a place where serious lifters and fitness enthusiasts come to train without distractions.
Gym Etiquette
One of the gym’s rules – no hogging the machines and benches while texting – ensures that everyone is focused and respectful of others’ time.
Accessibility
Open 24/7, this gym caters to all schedules, whether you’re an early bird or a night owl.
Location & Pricing
Located in Westchester, memberships are budget-friendly at $40 per month or $300 for an annual commitment.
Downsides
Miami Iron Gym could be pretty intimidating to someone that is new to the gym. There are also no classes so if you prefer training in a group setting, this would not be a good match for you.
Miami’s fitness scene is as diverse and vibrant as the city itself. With these budget friendly gyms, you can achieve your fitness goals without compromising on quality or variety.
